- There is no shortage of coverage about Kurt Cobain’s unparalleled talents, his crippling drug addiction or his premature death. But Kurt Cobain’s youth often goes overlooked, including his forgotten arrest and rarely seen mugshot.  Kurt Cobain was born at Grays Harbor Hospital in Aberdeen, Washington, to Wendy Elizabeth, a waitress, and Donald Cobain, a mechanic. By the time that Kurt was 9-years-old, his parents divorced and it definitely had a profound and lasting effect on his life and music. - “I had a really good childhood… then a classic case of divorce really affected me,” Cobain said. “I remember feeling ashamed, for some reason. I was ashamed of my parents. I couldn’t face some of my friends at school anymore, because I desperately wanted to have the classic, you know, typical family,” Cobain said in a 1993 interview with Guitar World. “Mother, father. Since Kurt did not like Pearl Jam, he scratched his sneakers with hints in graffiti mode. -

-   Slash achieved fame with  Guns N’ Roses  in the late 80s when the so called ‘Hair Metal’ was the most successful subgenre in Rock and Roll music and a few years later when they were already a famous band they had another big enemy, the Grunge Rock, that was ‘killing’ Heavy Metal and Hard Rock, taking control of the Rock mainstream. The most famous band of the new subgenre that emerge back then was  Nirvana , that ended too soon after the tragic death of guitarist and singer Kurt Cobain in 1994. - Over the years many musicians talked about the Nirvana and one of them was Slash, that gave his opinion in interviews over the years, also talking about other bands of that era. What Is Guns N’ Roses Slash Opinion On Nirvana In an interview with Kerrang! back in 2019, Slash said he doesn’t like the way that writers refer to Guns N’ Roses, saying that Grunge was what killed the group. Because on Slash’s opinion, they were big already and that didn’t affected them anymore: “It was kin

Kurt Cobain’s Regret About Eddie Vedder And Pearl Jam.

-   The rock world has witnessed a lot of  rivalries , especially among the bands that emerged in the same era. Even though personal issues were often the triggers, the music industry’s encouragement of competition also fueled some disputes. Competition in the music industry was a direct result of  marketization , which ironically goes against rock music’s rebellious nature. - The early ’90s were the years when alternative rock emerged to protest popular music, and ‘alternative’ distinguished the genre from the mainstream. However, due to the inevitable and aggressive intervention of the market, it paradoxically became popular. On the bright side, it helped the bands to convey their criticism through their songs to larger audiences. In those years when marketization swallowed alternative music, two legendary bands began their musical journey in the Seattle leg of the alternative rock scene:  Nirvana and Pearl Jam. A possible collaboration of these two would probably be mindblowi
