In one of the last interviews published to Rolling Stone magazine, former Nirvana, guitarist The Germs and current Foo Fighters guitarist Pat Smear. He stated that Nirvana, a band which he was part of in his last years, was one of the best experiences he had, noting the musical level of Kurt Cobain, which surpassed all his expectations.
-In the interview, he also pointed out that in the Nirvana shows he observed Kurt very happy with the results of the last album, especially for the mixing in the studio and the live performances, adding that he thanked him for his contributions on live guitar.
-"Kurt was too virtuous a guy, probably the best songwriter of the last 40 years, besides Nirvana being the best band of the last 50 years, it was an experience I will never forget" said Pat.
Remember that Pat Smear is currently part of Foo Fighters, a group led by Dave Grohl, which was achieved by scheduling live shows for the publication of his latest album.
